The Aluminum Die-Cast cup in select models and acoustic head acts as a heat sink for dissipating heat produced by the voice coil, contributing to long and trouble-free service. The high sound pressure level (SPL) achieved produces a clear, crisp, and intelligible sound of high level, thus consuming less power from the Amplifier. The voice coils used are precision wound on an Aluminum Bobbin, Model PU-SO, PU-SS, PU-8S, PU-100, have 16 impedance & Model PU-60XT, PU-80XT have 100 volt line with selectable Power Taps/ impedance. The required Taps/ impedance can easily be selected by changing the position of the rotatory switch of the driver unit.
